While pursuing her degree in Piano Performance at the University of Maine, Orono, Mesa was part of the University Singers, Renaissance a cappella group, UMaine Jazz Ensemble and served as accompanist for Collegiate Chorale and guest conductor for University Singers.
Most recently based in Nashville, she composed, performed and recorded in an original pop/rock band. Her involvement with the theatre department at Belmont University and Middle Tennessee State University included work as a collaborative pianist and musical director in multiple productions. Mesa is excited to be returning to her roots in Maine where she continues to work as a music instructor and performing artist in the Portland area.
