Building Community Through Music

Our Programs
Connecting community members of all ages, programs at 317 Main include classes, ensembles and lessons. 317 Main’s experienced Teaching Artists meet students where they are in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Instruction includes 16 instruments including voice in genres ranging from bluegrass to classical to digital music composition.
Partnership Programs
As a community music center, we know the power of arts education and its effectiveness in boosting student engagement and contributing to greater student achievement in other academic areas.
We believe that creative expression is an inherent right for all, and through our Partnership Programs we build collaborative, sustainable partnerships with schools and non profits to provide expanded access to music education in Maine.
Support Our Work
Music comforts, nurtures, and connects us. Your support will allow us to continue to fulfill our mission and keep programs as accessible as possible.
