317 Gallery invites you to explore the intimate connection between an artist and her garden in Soulflower: Plant Spirit Art, a new collection from Yarmouth-based artist Lisa Estabrook. The show features 28 works in pencil and ink that together, express the artist’s reverence for the Soulflower Dandelion Soulflower Purple Poppyplants and flowers that have been a source of growth, healing and self-discovery.

A self-described “obsessive gardener,” Estabrook is also a mother and graphic designer.  She is pleased to share her work with her community.

“My hope is that my art and the healing energy from the plant spirits it conveys will help spark or support your own personal insights and growth,” said Estabrook.

The exhibit will be on display in the  317 Gallery through November 4th.   40% of proceeds from works sold during the show will be donated to the music center to support broad access to music education.

Gallery hours are 10:00-2:00 pm on weekdays. Please contact the front desk at 846-9559 to schedule a visit outside these hours.
