Thank you for your interest in the Little Roots program at 317 Main Community Music Center!
Having fun while learning music is a top priority in all of our Little Roots classes. Of equal importance is our commitment to providing a high-quality, developmentally-appropriate, music education curriculum. Research shows that early childhood (birth-6) is the ideal time to influence musical aptitude in the developing brain. Young children are naturally musical and, by cultivating musical intelligence at an early age, children can simultaneously develop valuable musical skills as well as those in other learning areas, such as body-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, linguistic, and spatial intelligences.
We invite you to read the descriptions below. Once you’ve chosen the class that’s right for your family. Please fill out the online registration form. Our Registrar will follow up with an email or phone call to complete the process.
