At 317 Main, we like to say Music Is For Everyone and you’ll notice some new offerings in our Winter Session catalog that reflect our desire to make music with students of every age.

This winter, our new Little Roots Early Childhood Director Amanda Parkhurst is teaching a Little Roots Family Class  for ages birth -4 and their parents or caregivers.  We’ve also expanded offerings for  children ages 3-9 in our  Little Roots and Discovery classes.

You’ll start hearing us refer to our Deep Roots programs. These classes cater to students ages 55+. Starting in January, Brad Longfellow will lead a Deep Roots Choral Ensemble  and Zach Zaitlin is bringing back his lecture series on The Great Composers.

Winter Session begins the week of December 12, then we’re on Holiday break from Tuesday, Dec 20th and reopening Tuesday, January 3rd.  Registration is ongoing, so don’t worry if you missed the first class, we can usually accommodate newcomers unless the class if full.

Other new classes this winter include:screen-shot-2016-11-15-at-10-31-13-am
