What a fun evening with vocalist Susie Pepper, 317 teaching artist Kelly Muse, their band, AND  a string quartet featuring 317 teaching artist Robin Jellis on cello.  The concept for the show was “First Dances” based on Kelly and Susie’s experiences performing at weddings with their band Mixology. The repertoire featured classic love songs such as At Last  and The Way You Like Tonight and a few less common First Dance requests including Pure Imagination (from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) and this beautiful rendition of Hosier’s Like Real People Do. The string quartet rounded out the sound giving audiences a full concert experience.  Let’s hope this show becomes an annual tradition.

And a big thanks to our neighbors at First Parish Congregational Church for sharing their beautiful venue with us. A great evening!
