2020 Yarmouth Farmers Market Will Observe New Safety Protocols in response to CoVid-19 Outbreak
Market Runs Thursday, June 4th – Thursday, October 15th 3-6pm

Yarmouth, Maine - The Yarmouth Farmers Market will return for a sixth season on June 4th with new protocols in place to keep both vendors and customers safe in the midst of the CoVid-19 outbreak.

Farmers Markets are considered “essential businesses and operations” by the Governor’s Executive Order (3/24/20) and our vendors look forward to being a trusted source of safe, fresh, locally grown food this season.

To keep us all safe, we will rearrange the layout at our location outside 317 Main Community Center on Main Street to allow for more social distancing. Vendors will wear masks and gloves and we’ll provide hand washing stations and hand sanitizer for both vendors and customers. We encourage customers to pre-order from vendors when possible. (Links will be provided at yarmouthfarmersmarket.org) In 2020 the market will run outdoors rain or shine. (No indoor location.) All food will be packaged to go only and there will be no outdoor seating available.

We ask all shoppers to adhere to the following guidelines during the pandemic.

If you’re feeling sick, please stay home.
Wear a face covering.
Maintain 6ft physical distancing and follow signage.
Take advantage of hand sanitizer dispensers and hand washing stations. Limit the number of members from your household attending the market. Order ahead from vendors when possible and pick up pre-order at market info booth. (Links on web and weekly newsletter)
If possible, pay with credit card or, when using cash, make exact payment.

There will be no food consumption or tastings at the market in 2020. Prepared foods will be “to go” only.

Confirmed seasonal vendors for the 2020 season include:
